The Story of Acceleration
One of the most common aspect of our lives is acceleration. As velocity increases, there is acceleration. In my Pixton, two robbers have a problem because they are being chased and they cannot get caught. They accelerate away from the police and they become millionares.

ReplyDeleteI like your Pixton, but it does promote unlawful and irrational behavior. The criminals didn't need to ambush the cops after they had already escaped, but your physics knowledge seemed to be spot on. I also like your Tagxedo, but it would be better if it were horizontal. Also, what shape is it supposed to be?

ReplyDeleteYour posting introduction only covers one aspect of acceleration, that of increasing velocity but there are other scenarios when acceleration occur. Can you explain these other cases please.
Your comic strip story is very original. The characters and story plot is well done.
You state that acceleration is velocity 'devided' (fix typo please) by time but that is not an accurate definition of acceleration.
In one slide you use the term speed but in the others you use velocity.
You also mention positive acceleration but it is not clear what that means. Are you referring to direction?
The physics explanation of the concept is lacking in depth.
